Men’s corduroy shirt – a solid-color shirt that still stands out

This shirt is made from finely ribbed corduroy and features a full button placket. The surface catches light differently, making the same color appear deeper in the shade and lighter in the light. The collar is soft and made without interfacing.

Why a corduroy shirt?

A smooth, solid-color shirt looks the same in every light. Corduroy doesn’t: the ribs catch the light and make the color shift as soon as you move. That’s enough to keep a simple shirt from looking plain.

Fine ribbed texture — soft to the touch, with visible depth in the color.
Full button placket — wear it open over a T-shirt or buttoned up.
Soft collar — without interfacing, it naturally sits around the neck.
Straight hem — can be worn untucked without fraying.
Two deep shades — understated and intended for the evening.

The shirt fastens with the button placket and can just as easily be worn open. Wash it inside out at a low temperature so the pile does not lie flat at the elbows. The tumble dryer is unsuitable for corduroy.
