This small lamp is made from natural travertine and is available in two shapes: a simple house with a pitched roof or a cube. A built-in battery powers it, so you can place it on a nightstand, shelf, or console without looking for an outlet.
Travertine is a porous limestone, and no two blocks are alike. Each lamp has its own pattern of fine pores and soft veining, giving it the calm, irregular character of Wabi-Sabi.
When switched off, it looks like a small stone sculpture - and that is half the joy.
Its compact size makes it an accent lamp rather than a reading lamp. Place one beside the bed, on the console in the hallway, or among the books on a shelf, where a warm pool of light completes the room. It also makes a suitable gift for anyone who appreciates natural materials and simple shapes.
Choose the house or cube and give a quiet corner its own light.
