In this wooden board game, children roll the dice, add up the dots, and flip over tiles that match the total. This lets them practise counting and addition without a screen, at the kitchen table or on a rainy afternoon.
The rules fit on a note card, so a round can begin in a minute. Even so, every move requires a small decision: Which tiles will you flip over to reach your total?
A few dice, a row of numbers, and suddenly maths is the reason for one more round.
The board measures approximately 22 x 22 cm, making it suitable for a small table or travel tray. Weighing around 255 g, it is light enough to take along when visiting the grandparents. Wipe it dry or with a slightly damp cloth, and do not place it in water.
Set up the tiles and let the first roll decide who goes first.
